Celtic Love Knot
Having a tremor in my hand has put a stop to me making foiled work stained glass which I loved to do, but not letting that stop me I created a way to have a stained glass art piece still. Using my laser, I incorporated glass and wood to make this stunning suncatcher. Inspired by our Irish heritage
The Celtic Love knot or the triquetra is a symbol of everlasting love between two people.
Also known as Anam Cara Knot, which translates as a soul friend, this knot has both religious and spiritual meanings.

A Little About Me
Operating from my workshop in Delvin, Westmeath, I curate individual commissions ranging from gifts for loved ones and captivating wall and window art.
Over the 10 years, I have updated my craft workshop and showroom to facilitate the manufacturing and design processes, ensuring a secure conducive and safe environment for creativity to flourish.
Specializing in the technique of fusing, I employ heat in a kiln to delicately meld together multiple pieces of glass. Through meticulous hand-cutting and shaping, each creation undergoes a transformative process, resulting in unique and captivating pieces.
My expertise encompasses various forms of fusing glass and also now using the art of laser technology to further enhance my glass art.
Proudly affiliated with the Craft Council of Ireland, I actively participate in craft fairs and exhibitions throughout Ireland, showcasing my portfolio to discerning audiences. Utilizing multiple social media platforms, I diligently update followers on upcoming events, fostering opportunities for personal workshops and firsthand appreciation of my work.
Beyond domestic borders, my creations have garnered international acclaim, with exports extending across Europe and beyond. Eager to broaden my market reach further, I aspire to expand sales channels in the foreseeable future.
In recognition of my artistic contributions, I was honoured to receive the esteemed Westmeath Irish Artist Award in 2020, a testament to my dedication and proficiency in the field of glass artistry.
