‘I’ve a candle lit for you’ gift, thoughtful keepsake, clay gift, praying for you, thinking of you, sending love, best wishes
Being Irish, I believe this gift strikes a chord with many of us near and far.
These are made form air drying clay and are hand stamped and sanded – a choice of two shapes. For indoor use only. Approx 6 cm in size and come pre strung with jute.
For me, it reminds me of my Nan who’d always say a prayer and light a candle for all of us as her way of wishing us luck with any big events in our lives – be it exams, waiting to see if we got into college, getting married, etc.
Nowadays many of us still light a candle to send blessings to those who have recently passed or loved ones who are sick. It’s a beautiful tradition and a very special way of remembering those in our thoughts and/or prayers.

I make each item from scratch and as such, there is a lot of time involved in each piece. Once the order is placed I generally get to work on them within 12 hours so cancellations are not always possible. I will not accept exchanges or returns on personalised items as I cannot re sell. However, in the case where your order might arrive broken I will make and send a replacement ASAP or if you prefer I will issue a full refund.
Allow me to introduce myself. I’m a busy Mam of two living in the beautiful Hill of Down, Co Meath next to the Royal Canal Greenway. I’m a native of Edenderry, Offaly. In my former career I had an undergraduate degree in Social studies and was studying for a degree in forensic psychology. Most of my career I spent managing a youth justice project supporting vulnerable teenagers. However all of that changed when I took a career break to spend time with my young children. My outlook completely changed and my priorities did too. I have always been a creative soul and find pure joy in making with my own hands. So with huge family support I established my own little business – The Clay Conifer and have never been happier. My goal is to be Irelands ‘go to’ small business to shop for the highest quality handmade clay gifts for all occasions.
