This is a 6 week 𝙊𝙉𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙀 – live & interactive – 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙜𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙮 𝙔𝙤𝙜𝙖 course. It starts on Wednesday 10th January 2024 for 6 consecutive Wednesdays. Each class runs from 8.35pm to 9.45pm. Join us from the comfort of your home, gentle movements, breathing and meditation practices that will help you unwind, find ease in the body and prepare for a good night's sleep.
The course is designed to ensure that all the practices are useful and appropriate during pregnancy. Suitable for all mums to be, from the 12th week of pregnancy onward, no previous experience of Yoga is necessary. Yoga for pregnancy is a wonderful tool to help mums to be to relieve common aches and pains experienced during pregnancy, to reduce stress and anxiety as well as prepare for labour, birth and motherhood. An added benefit is that by practising with other mums to be, you will be part of a supportive network. Using Yoga postures, breath-work, meditation and relaxation techniques, mums to be learn to connect with their inner intuition, and are provided with tools to balance, to align and to strengthen the body and mind. These live and interactive classes will be delivered via Zoom platform, only a limited number of spaces are available to guarantee individual attention and interaction amongst participants.
Some of the benefits of Yoga during pregnancy:
Yoga reduces stress and anxiety through breath-work and relaxation techniques and creates stability in a time of constant fluctuation.
Specific breathing techniques help prepare the body and the mind for the type of breathing useful during labour.
Specific posture work can help you increase the strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth.
Yoga can relieve tension in the body and the mind, which can help to regulate our sleep rhythm and improve the quality of sleep.
It tones and strengthens the pelvic floor muscles.
It can help boosting circulation aiding fluid retention
Some Yoga poses can help optimize baby’s position and ease the discomfort and intensity of labour.
Back pain is a very common complaint during pregnancy as posture is affected by the increasing weight of the baby: Yoga improves posture and helps relieve back pain.
You become part of a supportive network as you meet other mums to be to share your experience, questions and concerns.
You get to enjoy a calm and relaxing atmosphere and some “me time”
To participate in a class, there is no need to buy costly equipment: a non slip mat, comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely, a blanket and a pillow or two for extra comfort and support are all you need.
Before starting a Prenatal Yoga practice, make sure you have the OK from your healthcare provider.
Useful to know
if you have private health insurance, you may be able to claim part of the fee of pregnancy Yoga classes under the maternity benefits of your insurance plan. A receipt can be issued for this purpose.
Terms and conditions:
Once you purchase a prepaid drop-in class or a course (such as Pregnancy/Prenatal Yoga, Postnatal Baby Friendly Yoga, or 6-week general Yoga courses), this is non-refundable.
Please note that if you miss a prepaid class (whether it’s a drop-in or part of a course), you cannot carry it over. Missed/unattended classes cannot be refunded.

Refund for handmade items: Our return policy is a refund or exchange when you return your item within 14 days of receiving it. To return an item, please contact us first, and then ship the item back in the original packaging, keeping your proof of postage. Please note: Eye pillows are non-returnable and non-refundable for hygiene reasons. This does not affect your statutory rights. If you have an issue with a faulty item, please contact us and we will deal with it directly. Refunds for Yoga classes: All classes need to be booked and paid for in advance, a minimum of 3 hours notice is required for online classes. Arriving late will disrupt the class, please be considerate of other participants and your teacher and be on time. Arriving late may result in not being admitted to the class whilst still being charged for it. Please note that if you cancel your place on a pre-booked class, with less than 6 hours notice, you will be charged for that class. Should you cancel your booking, with a minimum of 6 hours notice, you may be offered to carry your class over to a different day/time, subject to space availability. Please note that single drop in classes and class cards are non-refundable and non-extendable beyond their validity date. Prepaid courses, such as, but not limited to, Pregnancy/Prenatal Yoga and Postnatal Baby Friendly Yoga, require a non-refundable deposit. Course fee won’t be refunded once the course has started.
My name is Nadia, I have practised Yoga since 2001 and trained as a teacher here in Ireland. I continue to study to deepen my understanding of this discipline. I am honoured to share the little that I know with anybody who wishes to explore the wonderful gift of Yoga.

My background is in Teaching, I worked for many years in Training and Development, specializing in technologies applied to learning.

I started using eye pillows to manage headaches and support relaxation and since I enjoy sewing and crafts, I started making them for the students attending my Yoga classes. Soon I got orders from people all over Ireland, not just from Yoga practitioners, but also from those who wanted a tool to help them manage migraines and headaches, promote relaxation and aid sleep routines.
Eye pillows are also great to sooth tired eyes, e.g. if you spend many hours in front of a computer screen.
