Venetian tubular and Freshwater Pearl Earrings
The white tubular beads are from Venetian salons, I bought them years ago from Italian jewellery makers; they were beads that would have adorned the grand salons, on lamps, for example. These beads are no longer made; the freshwater pearls are beautifully lustrous; they measure 1/2" and the tubes measure 1 1/4"; the latch ear hooks are part gold and silver plate. They would make ideal bridal earrings.

I like making jewellery, especially earrings, always looking to create a different look; I particularly love to feature re-worked, pre-loved, upcycled pieces. I love fabrics and have made some bags, decorated with lots of different textiles and images; I fashion glasses cases from felt, lined with various fabrics, including silks; I like to knit sometimes; sometimes I like to paint in acrylics. Ultimately, I tend to go wherever the creativity takes me; I look forward to featuring various items in my shop.
